Hunter and Amelia's first child was a son, Thomas Hunter, born on 22nd June 1880 at 112 Molyneux Road, West Derby. He died on 12th January 1881 of Bronchitis and Convulsions, and was buried (burial no. 70119) four days later in grave 7182 (public) at the Necropolis Cemetery, Low Hill. Liverpool. Very shortly after Thomas' death, Hunter and Amelia moved just around the corner to Empire Street.
Hunter and Amelia's second child was another son, Hunter , born on 16 June 1882. He died on 2nd November the next year. His death certificate shows that he died from Croup - 24 hours. He died at the family home at 37 Empire Street, West Derby. Records show that he was buried in grave 6393 (public) at the Necropolis Cemetery at 3pm on the 6th November 1883 at a cost of 12 shillings.
